Françoise Espinoza is Of Counsel for Lamano Law and a highly experienced attorney with over 10 years of successfully defending people accused of crimes. Françoise’s path to becoming an attorney began after graduating from UCSB with a degree in Political Science and an emphasis in International Relations. She worked in the criminal justice system as a court employee, where she learned how the legal system works from the inside. While working in the courts, she saw how people with limited resources or language barriers often struggled to get fair treatment. This inspired her to go to law school so she could help those who needed someone to stand up for them.
Over the years, Françoise has built a strong reputation for being both tough and compassionate. She understands how overwhelming an arrest can be, not just for the person accused but for their entire family. As a mother of three, she knows how important it is to have someone who truly cares fighting in your corner.
Born into a multicultural family and fluent in multiple languages, Françoise is skilled at helping people from all backgrounds feel understood and supported.
