Meet Ben Zicherman
Ben Zicherman serves of counsel to Lamano Law Office. For over a decade, he has collaborated with our firm on serious and violent cases. Mr. Zicherman was born and raised in Berkeley, California. As the founding member of Alameda Defenders, a coalition of esteemed criminal defense attorneys in the Bay Area, he brings a depth of knowledge and expertise that is unmatched. He is a respected member of the Alameda County Bar Association, recognized for his astute legal acumen and unwavering commitment to justice.
His educational journey, marked by honors and accolades, reflects his dedication to excellence. Mr. Zicherman graduated with honors in Communications and Sociology from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then received his Juris Doctorate with Cum Laude honors from Pace Law School in New York. During law school, he honed his skills through a prestigious clerkship with the Queens County District Attorney, gaining invaluable insights into the nuances of criminal law and prosecution.
Mr. Zicherman quickly made his mark at Kesluk & Silverstein, a renowned law firm in Beverly Hills, where he specialized in civil rights defense. His adept handling of complex litigation tactics, motion practice, and trial preparation earned him a reputation as a fierce advocate for those facing workplace discrimination and harassment. He went on to collaborate with the esteemed Bruce Margolin, a prominent figure in criminal defense and medical marijuana advocacy. At the Law Offices of Bruce Margolin, he honed his craft, delving into all facets of criminal case preparation with precision and expertise.
